The Washington Business Journal has reported that Donald Trump has closed on the purchase of Lowes Island Club in Sterling. The country club consists of two 18-hole golf courses.
There are plans to renovate the club over the next two years and rename it Trump National Golf Club. Now that he has resigned from Trump Entertainment maybe he will be spending his time out here in Loudoun County.

It's funny how this news comes out on the same day that Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc. filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection (for the 3rd time). I wouldn't change the name on the clubhouse just yet. ;)

Donald Trump; seems to be investing quit a bit into Golf Clubs. He has whole team of experts who do massive amounts of research prior to buying a golf club. Going into the deal Donald knows cost upfront.
